If you want to edit a CSV file, use a tool made for coding, to avoid wrong character set and be sure it's always UTF-8 encoded
I sent you the fixed database file. You need to delete the Filmotech_Preferences.xml again, then launch Filmotech and restore the fixed database.

Some title seems to have incorrect characters, like the movie "SPOGLIAMOCI COS� SENZA PUDOR�". Do you have imported them from an external file ?
