File Names

When I import the movies on my hard drive, the names appear as still having 1080p, 720p, Documentary, etc. This makes searching for information very difficult. Is there a way of ignoring some words, mass editing some words, either during importing or after importing?

For example, I have this: 2040 2019 Documentary -- when I search TMDB, the entire NAME is 2040 2019 Documentary, and I have to delete everyting after 2040, and then add the year below '2040' - this is very time-consuming.

Why is the movie search failing now?

I'm using windows 11 latest release, and I attempted several times to add a movie (that is in the IMDB database), but I continually get an http error 202 with 0 files found. Is this due to the latest Windows 11 patches, or something else? thank you.

Filmotech on Surface Pro X

I have been using and enjoying Filotech for 5 years. I have a Surface Pro X that runs Windows 11 on ARM (Snapdragon procesor) MySQL has a Windows 11 version. Anyone have suggestions how to get the program to run on this machine? Thanks, Tom

Hi Filmotech and other movie enthusiasts!

Sofar I am happy with your catalogue program, but I do have 2 wishes. I know it might not be possible or maybe just very much work but I can always suggest.

1. I would like to be able to make a "Wish list". And if I buy them I can easily switch them from the wishlist to "All my movies"

2. A colomn with "Last seen"

Ofcourse there are a lot of other options that would be nice but I understand that it is expensive or impossible:
Auto sync between phone and computer
Editing list (and send that from phone to computer
Adding movies by scanning the barcode

And I am sure other users could think of even more great options...

IMDb (TV Series) script not working

Why is it that for 'Year' and 'Genre' most of the statistic percentages fall into the 'Other' category? The Year input is always the same 4 digit format throughout my catalog. Thanks

HTML Tags: App to Website

Hi! I notice that I can add HTML tags like to entries in the app (for example, in the "Features" field), but when I publish to a website, those are stripped out. Is there a fix for that?

Statistics - Show total combined minutes for all films in DB

Been using Filmotech now for about a year and finding it very useful in many respects but would like to know is there any way to show total combined minutes for all films listed in DB. I have looked at the statistics page specifically 'Runtime' and where I appreciate it shows breakdown of average movie duration it does not show combined minutes for all movies in the DB. It would be a nice addition to have under statistics page to show combined minutes / duration of all listed movies as one figure. As a workaround for now I currently export all my movies into a CSV file and use Excel to show total combined minutes from 'Runtime' column.

Is there an existing way to display total minutes already available within the program that I may be missing, if not, could this be a future item to add to the program under the stats page at some point?

Bug in latest IMDb (TV Series) script?

Hi

The latest update to the IMDb (TV Series) script seems to have introduced a bug:

At first, search works. But when you try to select an entry from the list of search results (top right), an alert appears:
“Script runtime error in line : Request url is not well-formed.” (No line number is displayed.)
The alert can be dismissed, but the search process remains stuck at this point and has to be cancelled.
