File Names

When I import the movies on my hard drive, the names appear as still having 1080p, 720p, Documentary, etc. This makes searching for information very difficult. Is there a way of ignoring some words, mass editing some words, either during importing or after importing?

For example, I have this: 2040 2019 Documentary -- when I search TMDB, the entire NAME is 2040 2019 Documentary, and I have to delete everyting after 2040, and then add the year below '2040' - this is very time-consuming.

@paoloris1 ,Actually, the IMDB scripts haven't been working for over a week now; for the time being, I'm afraid it won't be possible to fix them.

Neon Jack asked: Should it be working now? Because I'm getting the same error. Alternatively, TMDB does list TV series; would it be possible to use that instead of IMDB?

My answer: Pascal is in charge of TMDB;  He once mentioned writing a script for TV series;  I hope he’ll have time to do it. (I’ll remind him by email);  P.S.: I wonder if we’ll still be able to use IMDB (websites are now implementing security measures that weren’t there before).

I am experiencing a similar issue. Despite the scripts being (apparently) updated, searching with IMDb (TV series) often returns an error or, at most, 0 results (the shows I am looking for are actually present on the IMDb archive). Any update on the topic? Thank you!

I had no idea that TMDb was an alternate search. It is now working just fine. Thanks SO much. I'm 72 and a bit slow on the uptake, but normally can figure stuff out when pointed in the right direction. Again, a huge thank you. d

So, if I understand correctly, there is nothing I can do to 'fix' it. I simply need to wait till it begins to work again? If so, that's fine. If however, the fix requires a change in a script, I'm at a loss. Thank you for your response.

@dwallace7456 , It's not Windows 11's fault; This is coming from IMDb, which is likely testing safeguards against aggressive AI parsing. That explains the issues with scripts, even though we're neither aggressive nor dangerous; Sometimes the scripts start working again after 8 or 10 days, but there's no guarantee... Fortunately, there's TMDb...

I'm using windows 11 latest release, and I attempted several times to add a movie (that is in the IMDB database), but I continually get an http error 202 with 0 files found. Is this due to the latest Windows 11 patches, or something else? thank you.
